Why should I use Nextbase?

Nextbase is a starter kit that comes with everything you need to build your next SaaS. It's built on top of Next.js, Supabase and React Query. It comes with authentication, payments, subscriptions, user settings, edge functions, pre-built components and more. Because Nextbase comes with authentication, payments and just about everything you need to build your next SaaS, you can just focus on building your product.

Why can't I just use an open-source starter kit?

You can and there are some great open-source boilerplates out there. But since they are open-source, most of them are side-projects and are not actively maintained. Open source developers are also not incentivized to build a great product or with providing support. Nextbase is built by a team of developers who are invested in your success. We are constantly improving Nextbase and adding new features to it. We are also available to help you out if you get stuck. We also have a Discord community where you can ask questions and get help from other developers who are using Nextbase. We also have a roadmap for Nextbase and we are constantly adding new features to it. We also offer paid support and custom builds if you need help with your project. Contact us [here](https://studio.usenextbase.com);

Will it be easy to use Nextbase?

The great thing about Nextbase is that there is no magic. It's simply glue that binds Next.js, Stripe, Supabase and few tools together to build a SaaS quickly. That means you don't have to learn anything new to get started. You can use your existing knowledge to build your SaaS.

Who is Nextbase for?

Nextbase is for any developer who wants to build a SaaS. It's a great starting point for your next project. The only requirement is that you know React and Next.js. Supabase is easy to learn and the code is in Javascript, so that shouldn't be hard to get used to. Ideally Nextbase is best suited for you if: - You are an experienced React.js developer - You are familiar with Next.js and React - You can write basic Postgres and can hence navigate Supabase

I am not a React developer. Can I use Nextbase?

No. Nextbase is built on top of React and Next.js. You need to know React and Next.js to use Nextbase. If you don't know React, you can learn it from the official documentation. You will either need to know programming or work with a React.js / Next.js programmer to be able to utilise Nextbase well. Ideally Nextbase is best suited for you if: - You are an experienced React.js developer - You are familiar with Next.js and React - You can write basic Postgres and can hence navigate Supabase If you are not comfortable with React, or are looking for a no-code solution to build your SaaS product, this is probably not for you. NextBase is more about starting with the best possible performance your app can have and this is only really possible when you fine tune all the nitty gritty details that Next.js, Supabase and React Query provide and it is not as easily possible to achieve that with a no-code solution. Hence we built NextBase for developers and builders who want the absolute best! But if you are not comfortable with React, or are looking for a no-code solution, we recommend you check out other solutions.

Can I clone NextBase and resell it?

Obviously not. You can build projects with NextBase and start selling your core product. For eg: you can build a Tweet Scheduling app, a Slack alternative, or any SaaS project with Nextbase and charge your customers with it. But you cannot make a starter kit product out of Nextbase and sell it. As long as you build your own product and not a starter kit derivate of Nextbase, you can sell it however you want!

How do I get support?

You can get support by emailing us at admin[at]arni[hyphen]creative[dot]com. We'll get back to you as soon as possible. We're also available on Discord. You will also be invited to join our Discord server once you purchase the product.

Does Nextbase have a good styling library?

Here are some benefits: Customizability: With shadcn UI, you can easily customize components to fit your needs. It provides a high degree of flexibility in terms of styling, allowing you to use even dark mode.
